When was the last time you cried?

This question isn’t based on a particular gender, it’s for all humans reading this.

When we were small, we are always made to think that crying is for losers. It’s for people who are weak. And because of that as we grow, whenever we are sad or need a break from the chaos, our actions loop the other way.

We start to act strong and this converts our soft hearts into rock-solid ones.

What’s the point?

You have a heart of stone now what? Is that going to help you heal?

No, it’s just going to worsen it. It’s going to make you less empathetic. You will never be able to understand what your loved ones or near ones are going through.

This in turn will damage your mental health. You will find yourself alone with no one to confide in and with the only life you have, you will live in darkness, emptiness, and sadness.

Who should we blame for this monster created in you?

There will be tons of them but blaming them your whole life will only waste your time. Hence the best way to tackle this issue is to open up.

You don’t have to have a mental breakdown in front of someone, the corner of your bedroom, the bathroom sink, or even the closed doors of your workplace is enough to have a moment. All you need is time for yourself to get your things together.

Crying isn’t a definition for someone who is weak or a child or is sensitive, it is a moment where a person is letting out his or her emotions to heal better from their current situation.

There is nothing that can beat tears after a horrible incident. As the tears start to lessen, your thoughts start to gather together and you know what you have to do. Trust me this invisible advice is far better than several minds trying to help you.

So the next time you feel low or see someone who is at their lowest, sit down and break it out.

Because the people who judge you for this act are always the ones who are struggling to get the things in their lives together.
